Well, it seems that Harold Camping, who predicted Jesus was coming back in 2011 didn't see this coming either. His Christian radio network is apparently closing down as this article from the Daily Freeman describes. It seems that donations to the network have dropped off dramatically now that the Rapture has not come and gone. There have been layoffs and things look grimm for the network of radio and television stations.
If you're waiting for December 21, 2012 to usher in the Apocalypse, you may be late for the party. And your last chance to max out your credit cards and have one hell of a party. It's that close. You now have less than a week.
